Restaurant Reviews

Cafe Murano

I love this place. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything bad. Everything is always good. They make the best pasta and pizza around. Their lasagna is incredible. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the Richmond area.

Mama Dip’s Pizza & Pastas

I went here once and was very disappointed. I ordered a cheese pizza and it came with pepperoni instead of mushrooms. I asked my server about it and she said it wasn’t her fault. She offered to replace it, but I told her it was no big deal. Then I realized she didn’t even ask what kind of toppings I wanted. So I ended up getting a small salad instead. If you do go there, order something else.

Pizzeria Paradiso

This is another great spot for pizza in the DC area. It has a really nice atmosphere and the food is amazing. My friend who lives in the area recommended it to me because he loves it so much. He says it’s one of the few places where you can get authentic New York-style pizza. You won’t regret going here.

Sushi Roku

This sushi restaurant is located inside of a strip mall. However, it doesn’t feel like a typical Japanese restaurant. It feels more like a casual American eatery. There are plenty of options on the menu and they have some pretty interesting rolls. I’m not sure how authentic the ingredients are though. Overall, it’s still worth checking out.

The Local Oyster Bar

I recently visited this restaurant while vacationing in Washington D.C. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the food. I tried their clam chowder which was absolutely delicious! I also got the lobster roll which was also excellent. I would definitely recommend trying their food.
